RAW CACAO GOODNESS
All chocolate originates from the cacao pod. Usually, the poor cacao is roasted, combined with sugar, slapped about a bit, heated up, heated up some more then mixed with emulsifiers! All it's cacao superness, gone. Yet historically humans revelled in it's rawness. The ancient Aztecs believed eating raw cacao blessed them and had an annual festival to celebrate it. They even traded it as money. We’re determined to get raw cacao and all its goodness back on the menu.
The energiser - our cacao is a great source of magnesium, phosphorus and iron helping to keep a normal metabolism and reduce tiredness and fatigue.
The protector - the iron and zinc in our cacao helps us maintain our immune system and zinc also helps protect our cells from oxidative stress. As an added bonus, cacao is packed full of flavonoids.
The health keeper - our cacao is a good source of fibre helping to keep our digestion proper. The magnesium, phosphorus and zinc, between them are good for our bones, teeth, skin and vision. Magnesium, iron and zinc are good for the mind and cell division. Magnesium even has added benefits of helping electrolyte balancing (keeps us functioning at our best). Wow!
The builder - our cacao is high in protein helping us to maintain and grow muscle. The magnesium in chia helps with protein synthesis (breaking down and absorbing protein) and keeps the muscles working normally.
The diet satisfier - protein also helps us to feel fuller for longer, good for satiety.

Organically grown in Peru and raw processed (our cacao isn’t roasted). With the nutrients intact you experience all the raw chocolate goodness – and none of the guilt. Just as nature intended!
Our cacao beans are removed from the pod, gently fermented, washed and dried naturally to loosen skins. The skins are then removed and beans broke into cacao nibs. Cocoa butter is cold pressed from the nibs leaving a ‘cake’ which we mill into pure raw cacao powder. It’s fiddly, but means you get raw cacao goodness ready to go.
100% raw organic cacao powder and nothing else. Soil Association certified and Vegan Society registered for that extra peace of mind.

Chocolatise your diet for a nutrient boost:
Blend into smoothies or protein shakes for a raw choc power drink (little tip - goes well with our hemp protein).
Sprinkle over breakfast granola or muesli for a chocolate twist.
Whisk cacao powder with hot or cold nut milk and a drop of agave or coconut nectar for a delicious hot chocolate or milkshake.
Mash with banana, avocado and vanilla for a delicious raw cacao pudding.
