Digital Growth Marketing Manager
Digital Growth Marketing Manager APPLY NOW
The Role
We are looking for a marketing all-rounder with an emphasis on our D2C and Amazon growth to help us take our leading plant-based nutrition brand to the next level.
Who we are
Over the last thirteen years, BodyMe has become a respected nutrition brand in the UK and across Europe. We exist to make it easy for people to eat better, live healthier and do a bit of good (for themselves, their community and the planet). If this resonates with you, you might be a great fit for BodyMe.
Following a change in ownership, it’s an exciting time, with many plans in action, including refreshed branding, a new website launch and various new product launches in 2024. With this newness, we are looking for the right person to lead and build our digital marketing activities, to drive more brand awareness and sales growth.
Who we’re searching for
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced marketer, to help us drive significant growth through Performance Marketing, Content Marketing and Retention Marketing. We will need you to drive acquisition, conversions and lifetime value via our website (D2C) and Amazon (UK and EU).
Since the acquisition in 2021, we have relied on agencies to help us get the word out and bring in new customers. However, with so much going on, we want to bring control back in-house and are looking for the right person to lead and develop this function.
As an allrounder, in a growing brand, you will need to get involved in all areas of marketing, including:
- Creating and owning our performance marketing strategy & execution
- Owning the entire customer lifecycle funnel from awareness to retention
- Content creation and copywriting on owned channels.
- Managing the relationships and performance of agency partnerships
- Managing budgets and campaigns across all digital channels to drive strong return on investment and efficient CAC
- Collaborative innovation and experimenting across channels to improve marketing efficiency
- Retention marketing including loyalty schemes, referrals and maximising flows
- Maximising affiliate marketing and influencer partnerships
- Reporting on performance and plans
Who you are
You are an all-round marketer who can combine creativity and commercialism. Managing numbers does not faze you, but your real passion is finding ways to connect with the people who will most love what we do.
You will be working for a small team, so being proactive, entrepreneurial, and a self-starter are mandatory. We will need a lot from you, but we give you the opportunity to create something special.
Experience in both performance marketing and content creation for a likeminded brand or D2C business is essential. We want to get a good return on our marketing activities, together with building our reputation as a leading nutrition brand.
Knowing how to manage and operate Meta Ads, Google Ads and Analytics, Amazon Seller Channels, Shopify (including SEO and apps), Klaviyo and AWIN will be critical. It’s a lot. You should know the basics, but more importantly, you should have an appetite to learn what you don't already know.
Collecting and reporting on KPIS is something you can both do and use to make informed decisions. You will know your CAC from your CRO and are mindful that over-egging LTV is the road to ruin.
You will also be creative by nature and know what it means to develop effective content and ads. Video, display ads, packaging, product shots, blogs, emails, PR copy, and social posts will all be something you know and love.
The Team
The business is led by Chris Yandell, who fell in love with BodyMe and bought it in 2021. It’s a small, close-knit team, and we want to grow it with people who share our passion for health, and doing business the right way. We also have the advantage of owning our own production and having an in-house nutritionist, giving us full control of our products.
You will be reporting directly to Chris and will be our first in-house marketing professional.
Location
The HQ and production are based in Keynsham, Bristol; however, we are flexible on where you are based so long as you can get into Keynsham for in-person work a few days a month.
Rewards
Full time. Depending on your experience we will offer a basic package of 40K – 50k per annum + comprehensive health insurance.
We may also consider a fractional (part-time) relationship if more flexibility is critical.
Application Process
Please attach your CV together with a Cover Letter (pdf) telling us a bit more about you and why you'd be a great fit for BodyMe.
